Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
You will carry out cytogenetic and FISH analysis of specimens received by the laboratory under direct supervision of senior technologists. Key areas of responsibility include: accessioning, culture initiations, harvesting and chromosome analysis, quality control procedures, recordkeeping, report preparation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor`s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Science. Must meet requirements for the New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure. Good verbal and written communication skills, basic knowledge of computer skills. Experience with cytogenetics and/or cancer cytogenetics and advanced technologies in molecular cancer cytogenetics preferred.
Hours; 9:00 AM-5:00PM, Monday - Friday.
